1€ = $1,424
That’s good & evil.
A few pros:
1) When I’m in the US, I can buy an iPod for $249, that is € 174, against € 249 from Apple Stores in Italy. And much more, but the iPod is easily storable in my luggage… ![]()
2) In the US, I can go to a restaurant without hassling for the bill… (not always, but in general you can presume you’ll save about 30%)
3) I love looking at the currency conversion on my credit card statement when I’m back to Italy…
A few cons:
1) My American friends start sweating when it comes to pay for a dinner in Italy
2) My blog’s Google AdSense earnings are going down and down and down if I use that (not much) money to pay for a pizza in Italy… (Google AdSense only pays in $)
