Last time I was in Palo Alto I basically used my company’s Firefox VOIP extension together with my company’s VoIP service Abbeyphone, in order to make low-cost calls to my colleagues and family in Italy. I also used MaxRoam while on the go.
This time I want to try another experiment. I’m going to buy a T-Mobile pay-as-you-go SIM card that I should be able to easily use on my N93 or N95, then through Jajah Direct or MobiVox I can call my contacts by just dialing a local number.
I’ll keep you posted on the overall experience, best rates and so on. Stay tuned.
firefox voip extension, jajah direct, luca filigheddu, mobile voip, mobivox
