According to trusted sources, TIM should have signed an agreement with Apple on March 31st in Cupertino.
The main points of the agreement should be the following:
- 3G iPhone only
- no revenue sharing between TIM and Apple in regards of contracts signed by Tim
- exclusive with Tim for 6 months only
#2 is a good point and it would have been difficult for me to think that Tim would have accepted a deal with revenue sharing. Tim is the leading mobile operator in Italy with over 37 million subscribers and one of the most profitable in Europe, definitely a stronger position than others to accept to give back money to Apple.
